Bumps & lumps

Updated: Apr 4, 2019

I have had a few boxers in my life and with that comes lots of fun, laughter and adventure! On the down side the average boxers grows its own bumps, #lumps, pimples, dots, warts like a New York sweatshop!!

The ongoing battle was finding new #BoxerBumps:

Mast Cell Tumor,

the chameleon of lumps, can look like any other lump! (bad, but potentially curable if caught early) Lipoma,

fatty lump, this is what you hope every lump turns out to be. Adenoma,

a cauliflower-looking skin tumor. Hair follicle tumor,or cyst.

Also recently named Subcutaneous Keratinizing Trichoepithelioma. Histiocytoma.

Raised, cherry-red lump.. Quite curable!

After to much confusion; “was this lump here before?” or “where was that lump again?”

I put a general dog drawing on the fridge and every time I found a lump I marked it on the dog drawing, next vet visit I took the drawing with me!

It helped me a lot, if you have the same or a similar dilemma, feel #free to #download the dog drawing for your fridge.

Your vet will appreciate your accurate and fast information and you may just potentially safe your best friends life!

Hugs
